So I have been asked the question why are you running?
I have a wife and two married sons, along with 5 grandchildren. So let’s start there.
We need leaders who are willing to do what right and honorable and fair, and yes maybe even admit it when they are wrong. I believe Terry Boose who I hope to follow has done just that. Terry has tried to do the right thing and understands you will not make everyone happy but you have an obligation as a public servant to explain your position even in the face of fierce opposition. Example: (Terry’s town hall on state issue 5)
I hope to follow Terry’s example and be willing to make decisions that do not just go along, but to stand for the values of truth, fairness and justice.
